The Farber-McIntire Campus
The Farber-McIntire campus was made possible by our community partners, including Mercy Hospital Joplin, Freeman Health System, the City of Joplin and philanthropic leadership from the surrounding community. Take a virtual tour.
What's New on Campus?
KCU and Joplin community leaders broke ground for a new College of Dental Medicine (CDM) on the KCU-Joplin Farber McIntire Campus on May 22, 2021. We will welcome the first class of 80 students in 2023. Once fully enrolled, the College will have 320 students training to serve the four-corner region of Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas through a team-based, comprehensive-care general practice model. Visit the CDM webpage.
Joplin Student Experience
The beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces around campus are ideal places to rest or study between classes. Our cafeteria serves daily breakfast and lunch (and dinner on Wednesday nights).
Clubs and groups are a great way to build relationships while improving your profession and hone your leadership skills. View the student clubs at KCU.
Joplin is proving itself as a foodie mecca, with culinary artists like hometown-bred, New York-trained chef Jason Miller. If you're a fan of the arts, you can admire art from across the nation at the George A. Spiva Center for the Arts. Also, check out the Hip Handmade Market or take a class at one of the many learning studios to create your own art. If you love the outdoors, Joplin has you covered. Enjoy waterfalls, hiking, biking trails, parks, golf courses, campgrounds, historic sites and conservation areas. VisitJoplinMo.com
