The Kansas City University Oral Health Center at KCU-Joplin offers general dental care for the four-state region, including Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas and Oklahoma, provided by caring dental students and faculty. With a commitment to both education and service, the Center allows dental students to gain hands-on experience while offering affordable treatment options to patients.  

Our facilities include walk-in services for urgent dental needs or dental pain, and routine dental care where patients receive general dentistry from dental students under the supervision of experienced faculty. Conveniently located at 3001 St. John’s Blvd., we welcome new patients and strive to make dental care accessible to all.

How to Become a Patient

Interested in becoming a patient at our student clinic? Start by scheduling a free, initial screening exam to determine eligibility. You can be eligible if you need certain dental procedures and can come for dental appointments weekly or every other week. If eligible, you’ll receive care from dental students under experienced faculty supervision. You will have regular appointments until your treatment is completed. Our goal is to provide you with comprehensive, affordable dental care while supporting the education of the next generation of dentists.
