Ellen Cespedes

Senior Executive Office Manager for the Office of the President 

Ellen Cespedes serves as Senior Executive Office Manager in the Office of the President at Kansas City University, a position she has held since 2018. With more than two decades of experience in office management and executive assistance, she plays a key role in providing strategic support to the president and the Board of Trustees, while facilitating seamless communication, coordination and collaboration with senior leadership across various departments. Cespedes is also integral to the Board of Trustees, ensuring efficient governance, effective planning and comprehensive records management. Prior to joining KCU, she spent 13 years at Sprint/T-Mobile, where she served as senior executive assistant to C-level and senior leadership in Human Resources and Product Development. Her extensive experience in executive operations has been a significant contributor to her leadership success at KCU.

Cespedes holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from Oral Roberts University, a foundation that enhances her deep administrative expertise and ability to cultivate effective working relationships. Her understanding of behavioral science and management, along with her professionalism and strategic insight, allows her to successfully manage executive functions and strengthen connections between the University's leadership as well as the Board of Trustees.
