Charles D. Bruce, CPA
Charles D. Bruce, CPA, is a recently retired partner of KPMG, an international accounting and consulting firm. Mr. Bruce’s career in the audit practice of KPMG spanned nearly 37 years and work in three different U.S. offices. As an audit partner, he was responsible for the direction and supervision of financial statement and internal control audits. He served clients across a broad range of industries, including large multinational companies, and involving transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, initial public offerings and corporate spin-offs.
In addition to his client service roles, Mr. Bruce held several leadership roles at KPMG relating to engagement quality oversight and regional risk management for the firm. Following his retirement from KPMG, he served as a member of the firm’s National Retired Partners Council, a group that provides feedback and continued continuity between the firm and its retired partners.
Mr. Bruce attended the University of Kansas where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Administration in 1980.
