  I received the "Faculty of the year" award at KCU. This is a new award and I am honored to be the first recipient. Nominees were from the College of Medicine, College of Biosciences, PsyD and the Dental school, 09/2022

• Women's Study Group Leader, 7/1/2021 - Present, Islamic Center of Lawrence
  I lead a women's study group. This includes women from countries all over the world. We discuss topics such as religion and spirituality, interfaith dialogue, mental and physical health and how we can serve our community.
