Kansas City Missouri Rural
Core Site assignments are for year three only. Clerkship placement during year four is based solely on the site’s availability and approval. Students must follow the scheduling protocols outlined by the location and the Clinical Education Guidelines.
Located 41 miles northeast of KCU's Kansas City campus, this unique core site is a rural partnership between Ray County Hospital and Healthcare, Lafayette Regional Health Center, and Carrollton Memorial Hospital. Together these three critical access hospitals provide rural based care to the communities they serve. Conceived in 2023, these hospitals came together to provide a mix of volume in a rural setting providing third year rotations.
