Clinical Research and Project Coordinator - Research

Nova Beyersdorfer serves as clinical research and project coordinator on the Joplin campus. She coordinates the clinical research that is conducted with data from Freeman Health System (FHS) in the Joplin area. This primarily entails working with FHS IRB and their data for research projects with medical students. 

Gwen Dodd

Administrative Assistant II - Research

Gwen Dodd serves as administrative assistant in the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs providing support for a variety of research-related activities, such as Science Fridays, KCU’s annual Research Symposium and the Summer Student Research Fellowship (SSRF).

Data Collection Support

In order to facilitate data collection and management, students and faculty can consider using Research Electronic Data Capture (REDCap) software. This provides researchers with a secure, HIPAA-compliant data collection system for building databases and online surveys.
