KCU staff and faculty volunteers assisted Score 1 for Health with screenings that took place at local elementary schools in Kansas City. KCU’s Score 1 for Health provides free, in-school health screenings for elementary-aged children in greatest need, including urban core and low-income families from under-resourced neighborhoods. Osteopathic medical students gain valuable clinical experience in pediatric health assessment while providing an important community service.
