KCU Names Paula Gregory, DO, Dean of Joplin Campus

Paula M. Gregory, DO, will join the university as dean of its new college of osteopathic medicine in Joplin, Mo., effective June 1, 2016. The campus will enroll its first class of 150 students in the fall of 2017.

Esteemed HIV Researcher Len Calabrese, DO, Joins KCU Board of Trustees

The Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences (KCU) is pleased to announce that Leonard Calabrese, DO, of the Cleveland Clinic, has joined the University’s board of trustees. A 1975 graduate of KCU’s College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Calabrese is world renowned for his work in rheumatology and immunodeficiency diseases, particularly HIV and Hepatitis-C.

AOF Names Craig Dietz, DO, Physician of the Year

The American Osteopathic Foundation (AOF) has named Craig Dietz, DO, clinical adjunct faculty as an associate professor of internal medicine for the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences (KCU) and medical director for the Kansas City CARE Clinic, as its 2015 Physician of the Year.
